Nkosi ‘Cosy’ Memorial A.M.E. Church gives thanks to God for a powerful Bible Study held today, where the teaching focused on 1 Corinthians 2. The study reflected on the deep truth that the things of God are not fully grasped by the natural eye, ear, or mind, but are revealed by the Spirit of God. The Word reminded us that God speaks beyond human understanding and opens spiritual truth to those who receive by the Spirit. The teaching challenged the church to move beyond what can be seen, heard, or reasoned by the mind alone, and to become sensitive to what God reveals through His Spirit. We give special thanks to God that during the Bible Study, 8 people gave their lives to Christ. This is a great testimony of the saving grace of God and the continued work of the Holy Spirit among us. We celebrate every person who responded to the call of Christ, and we pray that the Lord will strengthen them as they begin and continue their walk of faith.
