Class System

Our Class Leaders 2025/2026

The Class System is one of the oldest and most vital features of Methodist church life. Each class is composed of 12 or more members and is led by an appointed Class Leader who provides pastoral care, fellowship and spiritual accountability within a defined geographic area.

Our 14 classes span Tlhabane, Geelhoutpark, OUKASIE, Ledig, Chaneng and surrounding communities, ensuring every member has a shepherd nearby.

Duties of a Class Leader

Meet members weekly to enquire how each soul prospers
Visit members from time to time and receive their contributions
Admit non-members and welcome newcomers to class meetings
Watch over new members with special care for 90 days
Report the sick and disorderly to the Official Board
Give instruction in A.M.E. Doctrine and Discipline
